Welcome to the New DisabilityStatistics.org

By Tonya Engst

We’ve relaunched with new features and funding, as well as a new design and updated data.

Long-time users of DisabilityStatistics.org have already noticed that it has a completely new interface, improved visualization tools, and local data, along with the latest available data from the American Community Survey.

Thanks to funding from the Northeast ADA Center, the DisabilityStatistics.org team relaunched the site on February 26, 2025, with a wave of new features and a webinar, Launching the new DisabilityStatistics.org: Get the latest ACS disability estimates with new tools. The webinar was hosted by Disability Statistics Senior Researcher Bill Erickson and Web and Media Team Lead Camille Lee, and it was joined by hundreds of people from across the United States.

Our goal is to help individuals spend less time searching for data and more time doing work our communities need. —Camille Lee
